TOMS vs Skecher's Bobs

Now they may look different because of the lighting but in real life, they look the same. My friend is in love with her Red TOMS, she wears them all the time! But one day she tell me that she bought a new pair of shoes, that look exactly like TOMS, but had BOBS on the tag. I rubbed my eyes thinking it was me but I read it correctly it said "BOBS." I came home, googled BOBS and found out that Skecher's had come out with a shoe that look like TOMS. Skecher's also give one pair to people who need them, so tell me what you think.
Do you think that Skecher's should have come up with a different style of shoes and still give one pair to you and one to someone in need?
